小冠是一隻冠八哥，是台灣原生種，但被其他的外來種八哥霸凌，最終小冠他們家的生存環境也被威脅到，牠們苦不堪言，卻又無法反抗，導致數量越來越少。目前已經列為保育類動物，人類正在嘗試設立保護區，讓小冠與家人們能更輕鬆一點。
